Looks like they are trying to solve some heat issues. Why is all the network equipment stored in a cabinet?

Yep super dumb

I feel like a couple of fans on either side would solve that heat issue pretty easily.

could be worse, found this on a new renovation project. I’ll probably recommend upgrading

On the positive side, they are labeled.
I’ve seen plenty of these.

I would add a small mirror to the watch head sign.

There is no positive side, it’s AC ;)

The issue is the UPS doesn’t fit in the cabinet.

Well no one ever said all IT departments are doing things the right way.
(whats the point of having the proper cable management if you cant get the proper UPS? lol)

That’s nothing. If I was allowed to post pictures of our IDFs you’d have nightmares.

What about FedEx?

Leaving that cabinet open is really a security issue. Hope they find somewhere else to put that UPS. I’d just find a way to put it on top of that cabinet.

It’s in an elementary school. I bet you $5 that it’s still that way in June.

Damn. Well, the budget definitely won’t allow that to change then. Nobody cares about IT enough.

Our IT department may not be the world’s worst, but it might be a contender.
